Presenting The Series
The Coining Poetry series for laCollection includes 7 lines of poetry created from vanity addresses (ie. customized), written within the constraints given by the ETH address -- namely the use of only the letters a-f, and the numbers 0 and 1. Taken together, the lines make up a self-referential poem that acts as an encoded artist's statement. For this series, the artist has created a new ERC-20 token called Poetry Coin.
She has also created this vanity wallet ending in "0F", which contains 1000 Poetry Coins. The collector of this NFT will be given the private key to this wallet, and thereby come into possession of a purely poetic currency with undetermined monetary value.
